Spesso mi sono ritrovato a parlare della mia amata Giovanna Battaglia, ma non mi sono mai soffermato a parlare di questa icona di stile Made In Italy.
Giovanna Battaglia è stata definita dal New York Times come una "fashion heroine" e allo stesso una "cyber icon" , il che ci dovrebbe far riflettere sulle capacità e sulle influenze che questa donna esercita nel mondo della moda.
La sua carriera è iniziata come modella per gli stilisti Dolce&Gabbana, grazie ai quali è riuscita ad affermarsi!
Dopo aver terminato la propria carriera da modella, la Battaglia ha deciso di diventare una stylist, dopo aver lavorato per anni al fianco di famosissimi fashion designers; sarà però grazie ad Anna Dello Russo e alla collaborazione con "L'Uomo Vogue" che Giovanna Battaglia comincierà a farsi strada nel mondo dell'editoria.
Nel 2009 la direttrice di Vogue Italia, Franca Sozzani ha ufficializzato il ruolo di stylist di Giovanna in "Vogue Pelle" e "Vogue Gioiello".
Un anno fondamentale per la nostra Giovanna, è stato il 2011 quando è stata eletta direttrice di "W Magazine", uno dei giornali modaioli più di tendenza del momento.
