[kpop world] Interview with Wassup PT1 (IT&EN)

1) Ciao ragazze, comincerei la nostra intervista con una domanda a Jin Ju. Sappiamo che non è sempre facile essere la leader del gruppo..com’è questo compito per te? Tutti i più grandi gruppi musicali pop hanno avuto sempre dei leader molto forti pensiamo per esempio a Nicole delle Pussycat Dolls, Beyoncè delle Destiny Child…a quali leader ti ispiri per il tuo lavoro?

Hello girls, I ' m starting your interview with a question to Jin Ju. We know that it’s not always easy to be the band leader. For you, how is this task? All of the greatest pop bands have always had very talented leader, such as Nicole of the Pussycat Dolls or Beyoncè of the Destiny’s Child. What is the leader who motivate you to do your work?

Per me è stato un grande onore diventare la leader delle Wassup. Tutte le leader possono motivarmi, e io posso imparare da loro. Beyonce e Nicole sono sicuramente fonte di motivazione, ma nel mondo degli artisti Kpop, Taeyeon è la mia più grande fonte d'ispirazione perchè gestisce molto bene le GG in tutti gli aspetti, anche in quello musicale. Per questo motivo è una delle mie fonte d'ispirazione maggiore!

For me, it's really great honor to me to become a leader of Wassup. Every all the leaders can be my motivations and I learn a lot from them. Beyonce and Nicole also one of my motivation but for me in K-pop artist, Taeyeon is the biggest motivation for me cause she leads rest of GG's members really well and she do really well in all aspects of music too. so she is one of the biggest motivation for me.

2) Sin dal vostro debutto, siete state molto criticate per il vostro concept. Cosa vi ha spinto a proseguire dritte per la vostra strada, senza ascoltare i giudizi altrui?

Since your debut you have been so much criticized for your concept. What prompted you to go straight on your way, without listening to the opinions of others?

Noi abbiamo sempre avuto una forte apparenza sin dall'album di debutto e stiamo cercando di mantenerla costante. Se noi cambiassimo il nostro concept in base alle opinioni altrui, perderemo la nostra apparenza facilmente. Quindi preferiamo mantenere questo concept e farlo nostro, in modo che altri gruppi non possano seguirlo.

We have our strong color on ourselves from the debut album so we trying to keep it constantly. If we just change our concept attending to others opinions we would lose our color easily. So we will keep our concept and make it Wassup's own color that any other groups can't follow.

3) Per quale motivo avete deciso di debuttare con questo concept del twerk? Dove avete imparato a muovervi così bene?

Why did you decide to debut with this concept of twerk? Where did you learn to move so well?

Per prima cosa, noi stiamo facendo musica ispirata all'hip-pop, quindi abbiamo assorbito molti riferimenti di questo mondo.

Il Twerk è uno di questi generi e si accorda molto con la nostra musica, quindi abbiamo deciso di allenarci, cercando di mantenere un'armonia con la nostra musica.

Firstly, we are doing a music based on hiphop, so we get a lot of effects from many hiphop references. Twerking is one of hiphop genre and fits to our music and concept so we keep practicing it with our music to maintain a good harmony with it.

4) Tutti i vostri video lasciano a bocca aperta, da “Wassup” a “Nom Nom Nom” passando per “Stupid Liar”…da dove nascono le idee per questi video che colpiscono molto il vostro pubblico?

All your video jaw-dropping, from "Wassup" to "Nom Nom Nom" through "Stupid Liar" ... where ideas are born to these videos that affect a lot of your audience?

Tutti i video che abbiamo fatto sono stati un'idea dalla compagnia e delle Wassup. Noi pensiamo e condividiamo sempre le idee sulla nostra musica, sulle nostre perfomance e anche dei video con i nostri membri e con l' Agenzia, e tutto ciò ci sembra un bene per noi per rendere il tutto migliore.

All the videos that we taken is from our company and Wassup's idea. We always think and share the ideas about our music, performances and even the videos with our members and also the company which can be looks good on ourselves and be more gorgeous together.

5) Vorrei fare una domanda in particolare a Nada. Il tuo stile ricorda molto quello delle donne del mondo dell’hip-pop come Nicki Minaj, Azelia Banks ecc…a chi ti ispiri maggiormente per questo tuo stile?

I 'd like to Ask a question especially To Nada. Your Style is reminescent of The Most famous pop women such in the world of hip-pop like Nicki Minaj, Azelia Banks etc ... Who inspires you more on your style?

Mi è sempre piaciuto avere un mio stile sin da quando ero piccola (prima del debutto). Mi piacciono in generale alcuni aspetti fashion del mondo hip-pop e per questo la gente potrebbe dire che il mio stile ricorda quello di Nicki Minaj o di altri donne del mondo hip-pop. Ma non penso che il mio stile sia come il loro perchè io ho un mio stile e mi piace!

I like to were my style since when I was young. (before the debut) Like hiphop styles has common things in fashions so some people can think that my style reminds Nicki Minaj or other hiphop women musicians. but I don't really mind that my style can be like other musicians because I have my own style and I like it.
